Do you always imagine the worst possible outcome no matter how ridiculous it is? At your age why would you suspect cancer or AIDS right off the bat? Do you have a lot of unprotected sex with men who might also have sex with other men (the largest statistical vector for spreading AIDS). Or do you share needles with other IV drug users? Do you have several blood relatives that have all had the exact same type of cancer? And by several I mean more than one or two. Then you are low risk there. The only reason ANYONE would go right to those is if they have mental problems and can't cope with simple things of life.
Plus if it's sexually related you would have been contacted by a member of the CDC to talk about your recent sexual activity.
Try to think before posting nonsense.

If there’s anything slightly abnormal it’s always protocol for your doctor to call you in. It’s not always going to be cancer or an STD but yes those are also reasons.

We're you even tested for HIV? Unless you had a PAP test done there are no lab tests for cancer

Call her back. Tell her you want to talk about it over the phone. No need to have 2 weeks of anxiety thinking of whats wrong nor waste over $100 for something they could tell you over the phone.

The time I got bad news, I got a specialist in 2 days, CT the same day, MRI the day after and the provisional diagnosis and referral to a hospital after 3 days. Canada.

Yes you are right. Stop worrying and relax. It's probably a harmless polyp or similar.
