where is the Classic mail option?

This version is a piece of ****, and half the time you can't surf the internet, and other times you can, it is like winning the lottery. Whoever came up with this garbage should be fired as they have made this so hard to use. I wanted to look up a dentist office, and nothing would open up in my search and it is a very honorable business that has been in business for quite a while. I want the old one back as it was usable, but this garbage is not user friendly.

Gone. It no longer exists as an option.

It isn't possible to change it back. Starting January 31st, 2019, the classic version of Yahoo Mail that you’re using on your computer will no longer be available. To ensure continued access to your Yahoo Mail account, you will be automatically upgraded to the latest version of Yahoo Mail or Basic Mail, depending on the compatibility of your computer’s web browser.

Yahoo Mail has 2 versions.

1. Classic Mail (basic) (heading shows sign out and home in the far top right) -

This is a very basic version for slow internet connections and older computers and operating systems.

You can switch to Classic Mail from Full Featured Mail as follows.

Go to the gear menu and select "more settings".

Click on "Switch to Classic Mail". Basic is now called classic.

2. Full Featured Mail (heading shows your name, dots, and home in the far top right) -

You can switch to Full Featured Mail from Classic Mail with the link at the top right.

You can also switch by going to options and then mail accounts and select it there.
