Is it OK to believe Tarot?

Question

I recently have been into tarot card reading. I also am a Christian and have been praying very hard day and night for certain things pertaining to career & love etc. Every time I pray I also find what I pray for in the tarot. Is it OK to believe that it could be my answers?

Ok by who? I suppose it hangs a bit on how much of a micro-manager you believe God to be. If God is involved in your job, your grades, whether or not you like the soup... then God might be involved in your Tarot reading as well. Historically, the Christian Church as thought, and taught, the Tarot the Devil's tool but you get to believe whatever you want.

I don't think it's the Devil's tool. But the last time I had a tarot reading was probably 40 years ago. It seems an entertainment to me.

The universe offers lots of "answers". Pay attention to your natural instincts. There are some "answers" already inside you.

Prayer is a request.

God acts on it in His time.

If your faith was real,  you'd wait for it.

You can't be doing both prayers and tarot.

If you're doing tarot then it simply means you don't have relationship with God at all.

Why should random bits of paper have any significance?

Tarot is a form of divination. The OT Law says that one should not suffer a witch to live. Pursuing answers from sources other than God is sin.

I prayed for love and career for a while after a very bad break-up. Instead, God pulled me through a season of personal growth. When He saw I was ready, he brought someone to me to whom I am now married with children.

With God a day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as a day.

You can believe whatever you want to believe.

But tarot cards, prayer, church, etc., do not determine your destiny. Your actions and choices do. And then some things just happen by chance.

If you want changes in your career and love life, YOU need to take the steps to make them happen. Prayer or magical cards won't make it so.

10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,

11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.

12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord: and because of these abominations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
