When did the U.S. Navy Recruit Training Commands close in Bambridge, Md., San Diego, Ca .& Orlando, Fl.?

    Bainbridge closed in 76, San Diego in 93 and Orlando in 94.

    Just guessing, but I'd say it's a budget thing. Why keep so many recruit training centers open when it's cheaper to concentrate them all in one location. The Air Force seems to get along great with just one recruit training center at Lackland AFB in Texas.
