How do I get invited to parties in college?

You seldom get “invites” in college unless you’re in Greek life or you play a sport, or unless someone in one of those groups specifically asks you to come. Most of the time, people find out by word of mouth, or people just get dressed up on a Friday or Saturday night and walk around frat house neighborhoods looking for loud music and strobe lights. I can honestly tell you that I’ve only ever been truly “invited” to like 5 parties out of the many I’ve gone to.

Just get to know people.

Make friends in classes and show them you like to drink. That's it, really.

Just go with the flow. Get to know your classmates. I am sure they will post saying party in this dorm or place on social media. Be friends with your major classmates.

Most students do social things with their friends, fellow club/organization members, etc. Do not expect to crash parties uninvited.

You need to start getting involved in activities, such joining school clubs, committees, sports teams, and other student organizations & school activities. There are also church, community, and other sorts of organizations you could get involved in, meet people, start making some friends with shared interests.

join a fraternity/sorority

You get friends by thinking of and looking after others, not of yourself. Offer to help them in whatever issues they might have. Listen to them. Compliment them when you can (don't be phony about it tho). You get friends when you make them feel good.

Then you'll get invited to parties. But you have to work at it.

If it’s a frat party you just show up. Everybody is invited.
