English Language representation essay ideas?

I have an english essay to write but I'm struggling to even choose a topic. I need to choose an individual, group, theme or issue and write about how they are represented in the media. I need at least 2 newspaper articles or pieces of text with different viewpoints to compare and then edit one to change it's viewpoint.

Brexit and terrorism were given as examples, but my tutor said it could be something as simple as picnics.
