temperatures below zero Kelvin are theoretical

It is not theory, but the Temperature that Hydrogen freezes
-273 Celcius or 0 Kelvin
Source(s): Do you want me to show you a picture of Hydrogen freezing ?? - Tom SLv 72 years ago
Barely above absolute zero, 0°K. Like 0.00000000000001° K, you could have as many zeros in there as you want, but can you measure that precisely?
- PaulaLv 72 years ago
Slightly above absolute zero.
The temperature now is 2.8 Kelvin
In 14 billion years it will have fallen to 1.4 K
28 billion years after that 0.7K
56 billion years after that 0.35 K
etc etc
The temperature will approach 0 K but will never reach it.

Theoretically, Absolute Zero is... But, here's an article claiming they made atoms get *colder* than Absolute Zero:

There is no way to really know because there is no one there to measure it!
