Car won’t start?
So I had RAC our and all they said was it was the starter motor because the car clicks but doesn’t start.
I’ve read that hitting it with a hammer may fix it but I can’t locate the starter motor.
Does anyone know any methods which could help me?
My car is Peugeot 307 2.0 diesel

Hitting the starter motor with a hammer might get it to start when it's not doing anything but when it just clicks you usually have a battery that is drained and needs charging. Clean the battery terminals and check the fluid level in the battery if it isn't maintenance free before charging it.

The clicks indicate the battery isn't producing enough amps to activate the starter. Have your battery checked and it either needs charging or replacing.
