Is it safe to take advil after getting an IV drip?
Just got out of the hospital and have a headache. I want to take an advil, but they had me on an IV drip. I don't know exactly what was in the drip, but if it's not safe to take an advil afterwards, then how long should I wait before I do?

Ask your doctor or nurse. it depends on the type of drip.
And, would you really trust an answer here, where your health could be a risk? There are many here who delight in providing false answers.

Probably OK, I doubt they had you on anything that would interact unless it was blood thinners.
