What video editing app allows one to edit and export a video without the need for the lengthy process of rendering?

I ask because it takes so long to export an edited video...after it takes so long to render it. Is there any way around these long waiting periods?

    What device are you using?

You'll often find that long rendering times are due to the output quality you have set, lowering the quality will make it render faster. Video processing will be faster with better hardware, if you're using a phone then you probably won't get much faster. If you're on a computer then configuring your render settings for faster renders can be done, a simple Google search of your program + fast render settings should bring up some good settings.

Here's a good thread which explains the settings for Adobe Premiere Pro - https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2122549

Its how video editing works. Can't avoid the end rendering process.

You could make it shorter by using a more powerful computer or adjusting settings for quality (but it of course would make the quality worse depending on those settings)

uh, it seems you don't know what "rendering" is.

you cannot save your changes without rendering them.

I do something else while it is rendering. I don't sit and stare at it. So I really don't care. The amount of time depends on lots of things. The hardware you have and the format you are rendering in are major. Most of mine take about 30 minutes for a 2 hour video to MP4. I have i7, 1060 GPU, 16GB RAM. I have to go to a 32GB RAM machine sometimes because my Pinnacle 20 crashes on some videos. I normally use MovAvi Video Editor, but it is limited and I need the Pinnacle for more complicated things.

    Buy a faster computer.
