Contact the wage and hour division of your state department of labor. They handle complaints such as yours.

There are, but the DEFINITION of 'in a timely manner' varies by state/country.

In some states, they have to hand you your final check when they terminate your employment. In others, it doesn't have to be made available until the regular payday for the last day you worked, and if you normally picked up a check at the payroll office, they can hold the check there until you pick it up.

If you have any pay related complaints anywhere in the US, contact your state's Department of Labor or the equivalent.

    Your state's labor board.
