Do girls mature faster than boys?
Is this true? I don't think it's the case, but I do think that girls think they are more mature at, let's say 16, than their male counterparts. So girls at 9/10 years-old, are playing with barbie dolls and having sleep overs, but by 12/13 they're putting on makeup and experimenting with sex. They go from being little children, then 3 years later the same girl thinks she's basically an adult woman.
I also think that teenage girls rebel in more dangerous/risky ways than teenage boys. A teenage boy might rebel by smoking weed, or ditching class. But a girl will rebel by going out clubbing with a fake ID and dating a much older guy, or some tattoo artist or something, and instead of smoking weed, she's snorting cocaine at 2AM on a Wednesday. It's like there's no middle ground. A teenage girl can't rebel by reading comic books in class or something, she literally has to think of the worst/riskiest way to rebel. Why is that?

Not everything of what you say is true. some girls do the same as boys like ditch class and smoke.. Most girls just become overly attached to some boys even at young age. But clubbing for some is not even an option especially not a tattoo artist not at that age anyway. And with makeup that would be semi tru but also would be the parents fault for letting it happen. I have a cousin who is 13 looks 20 because her mom my cousin her daughter lets her wear full on makeup which I don't agree with.
I feel like no matter girl or buy will never fully mature until you live on your own pay bills rent buy our own groceries wash your clothes and do all the house chores and have a full time job. I feel little things in life like hardships help a person mature.
But yes I am a girl I was never like this actually I was depressed and feeling suicidal.. So that helps:/
but now in days yeah some girl sure be acting this way and its so sad honestly.. Oh well may god help them..

they do develop faster and than guys that's the true not just psychically but mentally as well..

I don't think girls mature any faster in those age brackets! But women 24+ tend to be more mature than the boys in their age bracket at that time. Unless they aren't.
