Which one of these two diets is better?

1. Eating a typical American diet (processed snacks, pizza, white bread etc.) but 5-10 pieces of fruits and vegetables a day.

2. Eating a healthy foods diet (brown rice, beans, lentils, oatmeal) but only 1-2 pieces of fruits and vegetables a day.

    Absolutely eating a healthy foods diet are much healthier than the american diets.

    Diet 2 probably lacks protein, diet 1 may do too depending on what the [processed snacks and etc is)

    I would say fruit and veg between those two (4-5)

    A combination of both but staying within your daily calorie requirement.
