The Holy Spirit is God's power/ active force he uses to accomplish his will, it's is not a person. And just as names are given to inanimate objects so the Holy Spirit is given names as helper, comforter, etc.

False. He can be "grieved, lied to, resisted, insulted, blasphemed", and He "says", 2 Samuel 23:2. Compare Ac. 28:25, 21:11, 13:2, 10:19, 1 Tim. 4:1, Heb. 3:7, 10:15, 16, 17. Therefore the Holy Spirit can speak and do all that we suggest.

This is a world in which we understand by physical forms. Spirit is not physical.

Is your breath a substance? Is wind a substance? Is water a substance? Is oil a substance? Is a dove not made of substances? The Holy Spirit is the third "person" (for lack of a better term) of the triune nature of God.

Holy Spirit is the third male personage of the Holy Trinity or Godhead. That's why scripture always refers to "He" "Him" "Himself" etc.

Example - "When He, the Spirit of Truth has come, He will lead and guide you into all truth" - "He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears, He will speak and He will tell you things to come "(John 16: 13 & 14)

Holy Spirit is not a dove, but He came IN THE FORM OF A Dove at Jesus' baptism because being God the Spirit, He can manifest Himself in any shape or form He desires because He is ALL Power.

It is an entity/person... the living God who dwells with the heart and life of Christian believers. The Bible has much to say about His roles and abilities, and these symbols/manifestations have more than just a literal meaning.

The Holy Spirit is not a living entity. It is God's "power".

Anyone who claims different is a liar and not a true Christian.

    It's both. It's not really a person but it is a living-Being.

I was taught the Holy Spirit looks like a violet purple

    candle-Flame. Violet represents forgiveness which

is one of the most important lessons Jesus came to

    teach us.

It is the same energy Jesus showed to his disciples

on Pentecost-Day. Other colors have different purposes.
