The Sony W800 takes in SD and SDHC cards. SD goes from 128MB to 2GB while SDHC goes from 4GB to 32GB. Your camera can take them all but admittedly, there are a tiny few that may not work. When that happens, return the card to the store and ask to replace with another brand. Buy cards only from a reputable store. Too many fakes out there.
Caution: When formatting in the computer, set file system of SD to FAT16 and SDHC to FAT32. You don't have to worry about that if you format in the camera.
