Can no longer remember security questions?

My dad has forgotten his yahoo password and he can's reset the password as he has long forgotten the answers to his security questions. He has a sbcglobal.net address so it has been way over a decade since he set up those security questions. Is there any way to get around the security questions to reset the password?

Yahoo no longer uses security questions. They have been eliminated. Your mobile number and your password are your account security.

Unlikely that he can retrieve the account. Yahoo no longer use security questions; they use alternative email addresses or mobile phone numbers.

    Account recovery - https://edit.yahoo.com/mforgot?intl=us&l...

Accounts are closed permanently by Yahoo if not used for 12 months.

Note:Yahoo phone help answers are scams.

Mordecai is right. How can you forget the answers to your security questions when they are things from your life. Such as the model of your first car or the name of the street you grew up on.

Yes. They can be retrieved from the brain.
