Trinity doctrine 'produces confusion rather than clarification; ...the solutions it offers are not illuminating.' Opinions? UPDATE see.?
Cyril Richardson, professor of church history at New York's Union Theological Seminary himself a dedicated Trinitarian, said in his book The Doctrine of the Trinity...'My conclusion then about the doctrine of the Trinity is that its an artificial construct ...It produces confusion rather than clarification; and while the problems with which it deals are real ones, the solutions it offers aren't illuminating. It has posed for many Christians dark and mysterious statements, which are ultimately
meaningless, because it doesn't sufficiently discriminate in its use of terms ' 1958, pp.148-149. On page 16 he admitted 'Much of the defense of the Trinity as a "revealed" doctrine, is really an evasion of the objections that can be brought against it.' .......This from a Trinitarian! He got this part correct: true or not?

I agree. The Bible says multiple times that there is ONE GOD, ONE SPIRIT, ONE LORD.
Besides, if you look up the trinity doctrine you will see it began in the 3rd century. We have to be super careful not to believe doctrine of man/doctrine of demons. Girt up those loins (the mind) with truth and be doers of the world so we don't deceive ourself nor will we be able to be deceived by others.

God begets God. Human begets human. Bird beget bird. Whatever a species begets is of that same species.
It’s a family of same species.
The Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit are a family of the same species - God. They are all God. One.

There's many, many quotes from scholars and theologians lamenting the error of the Trinity, some are as Ave, Trinitarians even!

Catholicism is the One True Faith and a person can know this with certainty by reciting the rosary each day with care.

Actually, it is very "illuminating". Though the term "Trinity" itself is not found or used in scriptures, it is a convenient "label" for what those scriptures reveal about the nature of God. What is confusing is when people use the term to "prove" that Christians believe in three separate "gods" and not in the one and only living God. It's really not that hard of a concept to understand.

The Trinity is a difficult concept to understand because we are three dimensional beings in physical bodies. God is spiritual and occupies many dimensions.

we do not have three gods. (we have ONE GOD and ONE LORD)
ONE HOLY SPIRIT.
the divinity of GOD confuses people due to a lack of study.
the nature of GOD is this....
I
WILL
BE.......
(what)
I
WILL
BE.... (come)
= the sacred name
JESUS is GOD (with us).
THE HEAVENLY FATHER with (mankind) walked the earth in the flesh.
Gen 1:26-27 included GOD (ELOHIM).
JESUS was proposed for later... (to save us)
this was always THE PLAN.
we don't have 3 gods sitting at a table playing cards.
(as some profess)
duality? may help explain things)
THE SON of MAN? (is who JESUS is or became).
JESUS is THE LIVING WORD (born into flesh).
John 1:14 is clear.
HE is IMMANUEL (which means GOD is with us).
John 14 shows JESUS is in the FATHER'S IMAGE.
(if you have seen THE SON, you have seen THE FATHER)
is this confusing somehow?
(how so......)?
JESUS was conceived by THE HOLY SPIRIT.
no one else was or has been.
