Is there any kind of cancer that can result from you losing a ton of weight?
If you've seen the animated Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay movie, they mention that Amanda Waller's developed cancer, and they reference some connection to her losing a ton of weight since the last movie Suicide Squad: Assault on Arkham.
Obviously it's an animated superhero movie so it's most like b.s., but I'm still curious.

Usually losing weight is a result of cancer, but I can't really think of any immediate relationship. Perhaps pancreatic cancer, but they are distant relatives.
Actually healthy weight is great not to get Cancer, that of course if you have a healthy weight. If you are malnourished, you can obviously get any cancer, but that's hardly the case when you start from obese. A blood test can reveal that anyway.
Also, it depends on what you mean by weight loss. If that means developing an eating disorder such as anorexia, then yes, anorexia and cancer are closely related. if that means following a low-cholesterol diet for example designed by a dietitian, then there's no risk, and actually there are merits to the diet.

No friend fasting helps to get rid of cancer cells by forcing your body to cannibalize itself. The only cancer that you can get from losing a ton of weight is from taking the diet pills or the drugs that might add a cancer-causing chemical to your blood

Some (not all) cancers can cause weight loss.
Some cause weight gain.
Some have no effect on weight.
Same goes for cancer treatments.
Losing weight rapidly can release hormones stored in fat tissue that may influence the growth of some cancers.

People with cancer often lose weight. (From the disease itself [rapid cell growth uses a lot of calories, and pain/symptoms may make it hard to eat] and from treatment [nausea/loss of appetite/mouth sores/etc. are common with many cancer tretaments.)
But it's the effect of the cancer, not the cause.
