From where I am, I guess the price is just right for an i7, a 15" screen (?) and that much RAM. Have fun with your new toy.

Just remember, laptops aren't desktops. You can't use them 24/7. I recommend 2 hours at a time then rest for at least an hour (but how can you enjoy the computer that way, right?). Don't let it overheat because once it does, it's all downhill from there (you'll know it's hot when you can't rest your palms on the keyboard panel comfortably). With most parts integrated into one unit, laptops can hardly be repaired so fixing them almost always end up more expensive than buying a new one.

Before it becomes an issue, laptops are indeed much costlier than their desktop counterparts but we all do recognize that different personal requirements drive individual preference to one or the other.
