What do you think about "black metal"?

Ive consumed a lot of metal in a very short amount of time. I have done this with many genres. And I guess its just gotten to the point to where I dont have anything to say anymore about what I listen to.

Plus, I'm very old. Things just stop being surprising when you are as old as I am. People in this forum tend to forget that.

I'm the sort of person who would rather listen to Ihsahn's solo material, rather than his work with Emperor.

Black metal is one of my favorite genres, but it's not for everyone.

Surely one of the genres that my ear pads most consume, and one of the most emotional that music can propose to me. I listen to all the nuances and all the ages, from the eighties to tomorrow, and I love the atmospheric tendency in particular. Some of my favourite bands belong to it, Bathory, Burzum, Carpathian Forest, Akitsa, Agalloch, Wolves in the Throne Room, Altar of Plagues, Blut aus Nord and Darkspace.

That Body Count was only just okay at best.

I have a few favorite bands (Dornenreich, Naglfar, Secrets Of The Moon and Vreid), but I'm more into Death, and Melodic Death by far

I don't really listen to it I listen to old music
