So I have a windshield crack, one long crack going down the passenger side.?

Can I use a do it yourself kit or should I get it fully replaced?

    No kit will repair that. Replace it.

    A windshield crack is unrepairable. They can repair chips or "stars".

    Is it laminated safety glass - or tempered glass? If laminated - it will hold indefinately although the inner plastic layer may start to fog. If tempered, it could collapse any time.

    Replacement is your only option.

    Cracks cannot be repaired as it will continue to travel. Replacement is needed.
