why do a lot of jobs want expereince?
I mean even for a lot of entry level jobs they want 1 year of experience or for some jobs they want 5 years of experience. Why can t they ask for 5 minutes of experience or 5 second instead?

In years gone by, many companies were willing to put time and money into trainees. They knew the people would stay with the firm, possibly for life.
Today, people are disposable. Totally.
