What are the uses of Teflon polymer ?

    Teflon is a polymer of tetra fluoro ethylene . It is also called poly tetra fluoro ethylene ,that is PTFE . It is used in coating non-stick frying pans and other cookware . Because teflon is highly heat resistance .

    Lots of industrial applications requiring decent temperature resistance and low to no friction. Insert a teflon rod into the mold of a hinge, inject it with molten wax, and you can pull the teflon hinge pin out after, leaving a clean hole.
