Why do people still ask for directions in 2019 ?

No, everyone does not have the kind of phone that can give directions. I don't, and neither do several people I know. Sorry we're such a nuisance.

Because of two reason: 

1. not every one have smartphone

2. sometimes google directions show long way for shot route. 

that's why  still people ask for directions 

They ask because they are lost in technology.

Only low EQ people use smart phones

Not everyone has a phone, especially a smart phone. I live in a relatively rural area and there are still plenty of people with flip phones. Also, not every phone gets service everywhere. Phones die. There could be a lot of reasons.

So you have poor social skills. Doesn't make you unique or anything.....

Phones die. Not everyone has reception in every area. That and sometimes it’s a good conversation starter. Also some places aren’t always on Google Maps

Some people speak human better than they understand machine.

Some people don't trust Technoloy. They still need the human element.
