I would like to make a logo for myself as a graphic designer, how do I go about doing so?

Write down the name of your company.

Select some colours

Select some shapes

Work out the lettering not necessarily a typeface but can be.

A logo is not a portfolio of everything you can do. It is an identifying mark to distinguish you from others.

(I'll give an example of what I do, since the question has been pretty well answered.)

I've made several logos for things I've created, and I follow a similar process each time.

1. Think of some colors, shapes, and/or objects that represent what you're trying to convey.If you're unsure ask yourself this:What is the vibe I'm going for?What's the name of my business/the thing I'm making a logo for?2. Put those ideas on paper and tweak your design until it feels right. Try to ask the opinions of friends/family members. Run the idea by some other people.3. Finalize your design! Either put it in to a digital program or ask someone to do it for you, this way you can easily put your logo on whatever you want!This process can take awhile, don't rush yourself and have fun!

If you cannot even design a logo for yourself you can't call yourself a a graphic designer
