I stopped listening to new music the late 90's or so. I missed the catchy simplicity of the music give to us the 80's / early 90's. Everyone started sounding just like everyone else and the sense I got was trying to please the masses as opposed to just making music. The song I use as an example is how remember Taylor Swift came out with Love Story when she first started? Now look at her. Give me the old time music when they mainly cared about making music as opposed to sounding like X Y or Z. :)
