Will I hear from him again?

Will I hear from him again? Me and this guy have gone out a few times, the last being about 7 months ago. (they were far apart, he told me he wasn’t looking for a relationship) I texted him to hangout a few months ago and he said he would be somewhere for a party and we agreed to meet up with my friends. When that day came around I texted him in the afternoon to confirm and he never texted me back until a day and a half later apologizing that he didn’t make it out. He’s very active on social media but not an active “poster”. In the time frame I’ve known him he’s posted a few times and I’ve liked all of his posts. Although he has liked a few of MY pictures in the past, it’s not often. After he posted a picture a few weeks ago and I didn’t like it he then liked the next picture I posted. Idk if it was because of the picture or because he noticed i didn’t like his from the week before. He checks all of my social media posts, so he isn’t annoyed by me but I’m curious to know A. If timing matters to watch someone’s story on social media and B. If you think he will come around and text me again, maybe after the summer?
