If you filed the extension by the tax deadline, then you do have more time to file your tax return. Claim your deduction (1 - you), your 15k income, any other income, etc. and file it and send in a check with your tax return. If you don't know how to do that, hire an accountant to do it for you.

Not the way you think. There is no extension of the date when you must pay. An extension only gives you more time to file -- but you still have to pay on time.

[You did the extension correctly.] 2018 and 2019 are separate years. Yes, the extension gives you until Oct 15 TO FILE but if you owed 2018 taxes, they were supposed to be paid quarterly and then in full by April 15 - so you will be assessed some penalties and interest. You should remit 2019 quarterly taxes due soon.

Were you reimbursed for mileage?
If yes, you probably owe $300 in income tax (which you might have a credit against) and $2200 in self employment tax.
If you can't pay, you can get an installment agreement.

You just file and the rest takes care of itself. If you owe the tax software will tell you.

You have until October 15th to file for 2018.
The extension was only for filing the return. You were still supposed to pay by 4/15. If you did not, you will charged interest and failure to pay penalties back to that date.
Note; The tax credit for many hybrid models has expired. What year and model did you buy?

You filed for an extension and were required at the time to pay your estimated taxes when doing so. You have until October 15 to complete your official taxes and turn them in. If you owe taxes and did not pay them your estimate by April 15, then you will likely have interest and possible penalties to pay as well.
