I was arrested on a Ramey warrant in California and I bonded out and was given a court date. But I looked up the court colander and my name is not there. I also looked up the case number and nothing showed up. 

I called the court to tell them my name is not on the list and they confirmed with me that I was bonded out and given a court date but my name is really not on the list and that the District attorney has not filed anything. 

A Ramey warrant is an arrest warrant issued by a judge before the DA has filed charges. 

The court clerk gave me the number to the district attorney I can call to see what’s going on but I really do not want to call them. 

So my question is do I really have to show up if I do not have an a court date??

Should I call my Bail bond company? 

I found out i have a felony ramey warrant in California from July 2019. I read somewhere that ramey warrants are only valid for 90 days.  I have since then been pulled over for speeding in the same county and got a new job and was never told anything. 

Can i still be arrested for this? 

I currently have insurance with state farm and i did choose the "uninsured motor vehicle-property damage"  coverage. 

Today when i was driving my car,  a motorcycle failed to stop at an intersection and hit the driver side rear tire area which punched a hole in the tire and caused some scratches on the driver door.  He then drove off without even talking to me.  I called police and showed them the dash cam footage which clearly shows that he had a stop sign but failed to stop.

I am in CALIFORNIA.  It looks like i definetly need a new tire and i don't know how bad the scratches are but i just bought this car like 2 weeks ago and was very pretty in excellent condition before these scratches occured so i I definetly wanna fix that.  I will have to wait until i see a mechanic tommrow to see what can be done about the scratches but i know a new tire cost about maybe $200? 

Will my uninsured motor vehicle property damage cover this hit and run without me having to pay my collision deductible.

Since i have bad credit my interest rate was 24%.

I put $5,000 down and my monthly payment is $348 for 60 months.

The dealer was telling me about the extended warranty which i said i declined, he then said "what if i can lower the interest rate so that you can have the same monthly payment" with the extended warranty.

So he lowered my interest rate to 14% and my new monthly payment is $1 more at $349 for 60 months. And i now have the extended warranty for 60 months, 100 k miles. Under the contract is says this warranty costs $3,000.

Is this some sort of scam or something???? What do you think?

I am in california if it matters

I was driving a rental car  in CALIFORNIA and i was going straight when a car suddenly tried making a left turn in front of me and i hit the back side of the car.

His insurance company said they have accepted responsibility for 80%. And that i was negligent by 20%. 

I do not feel like i was negligent at all. I saw the others drivers car try to make a left turn about 2 seconds before i hit it. I braked so hard but i still hit the car.

Now the rental company is billing me for 20% of the cars damage which is $285.

I still not do not feel like i was 20% at fault.

Can i take this to small claims? 

I was unable to seek medical assistant for my minor whiplash symptoms because my doctors office was closed due to covid19.

Can i take this to small claims or what should i do here?

I do not have an insurance company of my own.

I just opened a roth IRA with betterment. I added 6,000. And 3 days later it lost $170. 

How does this happen? 

My allocation thing was at 90% stocks and 10% bonds but after seeing that it already lost i adjusted it to 70% stocks and 30% bonds. 

Any advice here? 

I do not own a vehicle. I only rent rental cars from companies like Hertz and Avis.

I usually reserve for 2 or 4 weeks. I can always extend if I want to.

But the credit card I have (Citibank double cash) no longer offers worldwide rental car insurance as a benefit.

So I was wondering if I can just purchase insurance from Geico or AAA and insure the rental like that?

Its been a month since I moved into this room for rent that I found on craigslist. The owner of the house let me move in by just writing her a personal check for first month and deposit.  We signed a 3 month lease. 

But the check has still not been cashed. I called my bank and they said that nothing has been deposited. 

Well it turns out I am having problems getting along with one of the roommates. He complains that I do too much laundry.  He said 4 loads a week is too much. The utilities are included in the rent price. He is a loser and stays home all day so he wears the same thing every day. I work everyday and wear diffrent clothes every day.  I dont know how he pays his rent but this so stupid of him.

I really want to move out asap and forget about the 3 month lease and cancel that personal check I wrote and not pay for the 2nd month.

I found a room for rent on craigslist and I met up with a man that said he was managing the place for the owner and he showed me room, he introduced me to 1 of the tenants there and it looks as if the owner does not live there but just rents the rooms out. The house looks like an airbnb with a code lock on the front door and room numbers on the bedrooms doors.

The room he showed me was empty.

The next day I texed him with info about me and I sent him my pay stubs and that was it. I was approved. No social no background or credit check. He emailed me what looks like a legitimate lease and asked me to pay the first and last month with zelle. I told him if I could just pay with money orders and he said that's fine and that he will meet me at an address that is a couple minutes away from where the house is.

I googled his number and I found a photo of him on google images from what looks like a social media profile.

The things that sound fishy are that: it looks like an Airbnb with a 4 digit code lock on front door.

He wanted me to pay with zelle before we meet to give me the keys and code to front door.

He wanted to meet at a diffrent location to collect the money orders.

This is the 2nd time this year that I have had some rib/chest pain along with some throat pain.

The first time i had the rib/chest pain it was in my right side and I had some heartburn.

Now today I have the same rib/chest pain again and my throat is hurting and I feel like I have some mucus inside my throat.

I'm worried this is Lung cancer???

in February 2019 i was given a fix it ticket for dark window tints and expired registration in San Diego CA. I dont live in san diego so i requested in extention and it was approved until May 17. but on april 12 my car was repossessed so it was impossible for me to correct the violation and then on April 15 i was involved in a car accident in my rental car in Los Angeles. i was not at fault and i was injured. i went to the emergency room and was instructed to see a chriopracter a coulple times a week, which i did for the next 6 weeks. i was finally discharged from the chiropracter in LA on june 14. but my ticket in san diego was due by May 17, and due to this very stresfull accident, and my loss of income stress because i was a food delivery driver that had to quit i was not able to make it in San Diego by May 17. i had completely forgot because i am still dealing with awyers to be compensated for my medical bills and lost wages for this accident. i had full intent on getting this ticket resolved which is why i requested this extention but do to my reposssessed car and car accident i was not able to make it to san diego before the deadline. Can a lawyer get this FTA dismissed?

Last week I visited a escort at her hotel. I agreed to pay her money for a massage.  Half way thru the massage I complained that this massage sucks.  She got mad and called police to have me leave, I tried to grab the phone from here to talk to the police and a struggle happened and I took her phone away and went outside to talk on her phone to the police. She followed me and pepper sprayed me.  When the police showed up they made me leave.  She later messaged me that she got kicked out of the hotel because of this and that she is going to sue me because of that and for attacking her when I took her phone away that left bruises on her arm.  

Can I be sued for this? 

i live in california. the only job i had in 2018 was working for Door Dash food delivery. i made about 15k.

i never paid quarterly taxes, and i never even filed taxes but in April i did request an extention and ithink it said i have until october.

i bought a hybrid car last year so i should probably quallify for ev tax credit anways.

just curious how the extention process works?

Me and my so called friends where hanging out yesterday and got into an argument. they ended up vandalizing my car. im guessing the damage is between 300-600 dollars. (no estimate yet). so i later sent him a snapchat photo of the damage with the text "pressing charges,maybe" he then told me "dont,i have alot going on"

So is he pretty much admitting to the crime??

what happened is that yesterday he vandalized my car and i later snapchatted him a picture of the damage and i wrote i am pressing charges, he told me not to press charges. i also went to his story timeline and took a screenshot of his face pic to proof that is his account, so he then asked me why i took a screenshot and i said cuz i can and he then told me "watch yourself"

SO CAN THAT MEAN A THREAT?
