Loud mufflers annoy others. In my neighborhood it could actually result in a brick through your windshield. A muffler that exceeds a certain noise level can also earn you a ticket and a police order to replace it with a quieter one, in which case your money would be entirely wasted. Please just grow up instead and install a stock muffler.
