Is these days nobody bothering to answer on yahoo answers?

Your last question was "where are the real guys?" You didn't mention where you live,what age group you're seeking, what qualities, what you consider a 'real guy', etc. It came across as a complaint that you can't find a suitable partner, and not a knowledge seeking question (which is what the site was designed for).

Some reasons questions get few or no answers are:

*They are posted at low YA user times of day

*They are posted in low activity categories

*They are poorly worded or not understandable/gibberish

*They are complex and not many would know the answer

*They don't interest the people who saw them

*They are trolling or aren't questions (but statements or requests)

*They are posted in the wrong category or not the best category to get good answers

*Some users refuse to reply to a question posted by a user using the Anonymous (blue face) feature

*Your question is only visible to you due to it being hung in the spam filter (log out of your account OR try viewing your question in another browser in which you aren't logged in to your YA account. If you can see the question, then it's fine. If you can't, then go into it and move it to another category, then back where it belongs. Check it again with a non-logged in account. Once you can see it, you can feel sure others can see it too).

Surely YA is not much sought after site as in the past.

Part of the problem is the hassle of reCaptchas. Also people were complaining about trolls who re-categorized people unnecessarily. Now that Level 7's have lost the ability to change the categories of questions, some people might come back.

The latest failure on YA is that many answers don't post unless you hit the page Refresh, and sometimes, instead of posting, the attempted answer just vanishes.

YA sux.

Captcha is the main reason this site is flushing itself down the toilet. I use to be on here 1-3 hours a day. But now, I'm barely here for an hour and usually less. The glitches and trolls aren't that much of a bother really.

I'm going to guess its because of your terrible grammar, you couldn't even word this question correctly.

People can't be bothered to read something that is difficult to read.

People still Answer Questions but there are Fewer Users on this Site then there use to be Years Back a lot of people have Left the Site Due to all the Changes that have been going on with this Site there not taking good Care of this Site a lot of Bugs and Glitch's and the Captcha thing im sure is making Quite a Few people wanna Either Leave or Participate Less on this Site

between Captcha's , glitches, and just 100's of senseless troll questions...........it's safe to say participation here is just tanking.

People I use to see here DAILY are barely signing in once a week now......answering maybe 2 or 3 questions, and then signing off.

Yahoo blew it, with this Captcha nonsense.........even the Chinese Bots weren't this annoying-

It is currently midnight for us North Americans. YA won't be as busy right now.

Lots of regular users left due to those stupid Captchas. Much harder to get decent answers now.
