I had a brown bear encounter today but if reader has had any where was it?
Met mine today in coastal hills above Samish Bay while single-track motorcycling.
It ran after me and then went downhill toward where the trail would soon take me.
I reversed my direction to avoid a possible second encounter.

One time when playing golf at Arrowhead, there was a bear in the pond by one of the greens. We played down the other side of the fairway.

today I pooped, and I named my poop "brown bear" because it was brown and very, very, VERY, REALLY REALLY HUGE! (AND ANGRY!!)
