Are you happy?

i'm not leaping in the air happy but i'm doing all right.

what makes my life so great? well there's a lot of thing aren't there. for example:

1) i am currently not being eaten alive by rats. this might seem little enough to celebrate to you, but trust me, you wouldn't want to be eaten by rats. aren't you glad you're not? if you are being eaten by rats, sorry to bring it up, and get well soon.

... and there's like, a million other reasons on top of that.

i am content. i am working on stuff in my life that is kind of stressing me out for years now. i work in a low paying field that is very laborous and long hours and i live in a high cost state. i don't even bring in enough money per month to make a decent living i'd literally be homeless unless i worked 2 full time jobs.

so im trying to go back to school for a field that makes more where i can have the lifestyle i want ( be financially stable and spend time with my kids and family instead of working all the time ) many people in my field have wives and kids that they barely see it's pretty sad

the other part that makes it harder is i got into an accident couple months ago guy was stopped at a red light and i had a green light so i proceeded to go straight as i had the right of way and for some reason he just gassed it right into me totaling my car. car was owned by my dad but i helped pay for it under the table since i drove it and it was a hand me down car randomly due to my mom getting a free car fully paid off. money went to my dad and my mom passed away from cancer 1 month before this so bills were rough at the time. got a car now but it's my grandpa's car but he let us have it. still planning to buy my own car then go back to school. will take some time though but i want to go back to school within the next 4 years.

I am happy.

The light of the divine shines with in me and that is all that is needed. The world itself is a temporary condition but is also lit up with the light of God and therefore is radiantly beautiful. Every time I walk outside I see beauty all around me.

I am so fortunate to have a roof over my head, to have a shower in the morning and to have good food.

My happiness is not based on outside circumstances but on my relationship with Jesus Christ.

for the time being, yes I am.

Yes, right now I'm very happy.

You are only as happy as you want to be, I don't dwell on that sort of emotions. Instead... I dwell on what tomorrow will bring and if traveling to another time will be a life changing moment... or not.

I have a good job, I make good money and I'm only 9 years away from retirement.
