Apostle Peter recognized that God is not partial, but in every nation the man that fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him.

The determining factor, is the heart of the individual and what his heart is moving him to do.

Those who observe God’s commandments and do the things that are pleasing in his eyes have the assurance that his ears are also open to them.

Conversely, those who disregard God’s Word and law, do not receive a favorable hearing from God; their prayers are detestable to him.

The individual must have faith in God, recognition of one’s own sinful state is essential.

One’s nationality, the color of one’s skin, or one’s economic circumstances have no bearing on the matter.

But the motivations of one’s heart and one’s way of life do.

So, here's a question. If God knows literally everything, and everything that happens is part of his plan, why do you pray to him to change things?

Jesus is too busy taking it in the butt to answer.

There are some prayers that God does not answer. Consider two factors that would cause Jehovah God to ignore a person's prayer. (1) The prayer goes against God's will. God does not answer requests that go against his will, or his requirements, which are in the Bible. (1 John 5:14) For example, the Bibles requires that we avoid being greedy. (2) The person praying acts rebelliously. God does not listen to those who are determined to offend him by their actions. For example, God told those who claimed to serve him but acted rebelliously: "Even though you make many prayers, I am not listening; with bloodshed your very hands have become filled." (Isaiah 1:15)

    Probably because

    the hypothetical God,

that you happen to be imagining,

    is completely imaginary.

    You're not doing anything wrong.

    You're doing it perfectly actually.

"Hear" is not always what happens. People generally get impressions. They feel (deep within) a moving of God.

God has 3 answers to all prayer requests:

    Yes

    No

    Not Now

Sometimes in praying, you're praying for something that should wait. A good example of this is a guy I know who prayed to be married. He prayed for a few years. God finally put the ideal woman in his life. She just wasn't ready for a relationship at the time he started praying.

You are not simply credulous enough to fool yourself.

Most likely the confirmation bias isn't strong enough .
