Why do some people vote socialism or democratic?

    Socialism is not on the ballot. Democratic socialism is. I can't say much about "socialism" because it's definition depends on which 19th century philosopher you subscribe to but democratic socialism refers to when people work together to find solutions that provide the greatest good for the greatest number. Who wouldn't vote for that?

    They don't care for the free market capitalism model that allows a few successful elite to make more money than they know what to do with while the vast majority struggle with crippling poverty.
