It replaced the Grand Am, but it is a new platform. My 2001 Grand Am was still running well at 160,000 miles in 2014 when I traded it in.

Depends on the actual condition, maintenance records and price. The mileage alone tells us nothing particularly useful.

High mileage 12 year old orphan car with limited support for repair parts? Crazy idea.
Source(s): My 2005 Nissan Pathfinder was 9 years old and with 70K miles when I got it from neighbor for Bluebook cost. Creampuff in top shape, garaged in coastal California. 25K miles later, no problems, plenty of repair parts available if I need them since that model has long production, still being made. - The TaxpayerLv 72 years ago
good engine, might be a little thirsty. Have a mechanic check it out before purchase to see if if it's thrown any codes.
