Take accounting. So you have an occupation you can do at home in case you need extra income. Or make extra money at tax time doing taxes for people.

Also so you have something to fall back on if you find yourself 45 and single again.

Chances of you (or any woman these days) ever becoming a stay-home mom are extremely poor. Even those who manage a year or two as stay-home mom typically must return to work before their child starts kindergarten. You are being short-sighted, narrow minded, and totally unrealistic.

If you ever did become a stay-home mom till your child starts college, what on earth are you going to do with yourself when baby grows up & leaves the nest? 99.99% chance you will become bored, boring, and irrelevant.

Any man (or woman for that matter) who would be attracted to you in this role is the same kind of person who will trade you in for a newer model down the road.

It's best to use education as a means to look out for yourself as a result, because you never know when this so-called plan will backfire.

Forget college. Go to work now and start saving money now.

Just tell a guy you love him and he'll be your walking ATM.

You could be a cosmetologist. That's pretty feminine.

At least you're honest. I'd become an executive secretary. I think you can get that with a psychology degree and some office skills, maybe communications. You dress cute for work that way too. You can attract somebody like a business owner or a psychiatrist, dentist etc. who might like the idea of you managing his office someday.
