You people, here on Y!A, and people everywhere, are exchanging statements; is it sometimes like this?
though with statements, people voice quite a lot of what they think and what they mean, little of what's meant is understood. Is this communication? Do you know what they mean? Do they know what you mean? Do you want to understand? Do you want to be understood? Do you want to communicate? Why would somebody not want to communicate? Why would counterparts be unable to communicate?

if you owe someone money you don't want to communicate
It is the issue of debt, debt to parents etc.
and one is also here to empower oneself and practice English which is my case

Points of view, man is in part a social creature (Aristotle).
The meme that, after listening to or reading a statement, one is either at least temporarily more intelligent (in-telling), or the same (a wash, not worthwhile), or even stupified ("less in-telling") is one criterion to evaluate statements, whether in person or on the internet. Asking oneself, "what has benefited, or, become more dense" by such interaction tends to give Platonic, Noesis insight as to what is worthwhile, and, contrariwise, what is not demonstrating God, Good.

(Most of the time I start off asking Q's like this one just to see what people will say NOT BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE AN ANSWER OF MY OWN. Most of the time after I have read the responses & chosen a best answer & made some comments...my thoughts become clearer & my opinions more developed, which I enjoy & find it valuable)
That's what you have written already on your personal description of yourself here, tizzoseddy.
Nine questions you ask - which makes them all the more interesting as we both know that you have a
near-full-set-of-ideas, in the form of philosophy, which you hold dear^.
I should know because I have questioned you on it (& found that I disagreed with virtually all of
it because it is not objective, as you yourself described).
Such a closed & seemingly innocent philosophy would be one with which such odd questions
would be asked.
Like your first one.. about EXCHANGING STATEMENTS ? Really ?
For just a look-to-my-right here shows other trending Questions like.
What is typically missing in our beliefs that prevent them from becoming knowledge?
& although this asks for an answer necessitating a reply in words & IN STATEMENTS
nevertheless it asks for things like beliefs along with the associated descriptions
that make-up-the well held beliefs, the ideas also which are a vital part of any
and all of such (& as you already well know from past discussions here such
this includes "beliefs" such as recognisable, taught philosophies...).
So no, not just "an exchange-of-statements" as asked.
But then you go on (that) People VOICE quite a lot of what they think & what they mean, little
of what's meant is understood...
Huh ?
Is that meant to be part-of-a-question, where you then ask, Is this communication? and
Do you know what they mean? Etc.
With then a following 5 questions one-after-another.
Without a Straightforward question what are we to make of your "LITTLE OF WHATS MEANT
IS UNDERSTOOD" !?!
So without pre-empting a reply (like these could be typical of your-form-of-subjective-type-
philosophy held) I should say that although these questions may be typical of someone
trying to move FROM AN EXISTING belief...in fact they are hardly sensible of anyone
wanting to know just some information about or current knowledge of.. Philosophy - current
and past philosophy ideas + commitments, logic, Aims, etcetera.
And NOT forgetting past Philosophy HISTORY (of which I know from our previous questions
& answers, & frank conclusions, that you understood tizzoseddy)
^ like your Q. - To the degree that our DEFINITIONS DIFFER, we are UNABLE TO COMMUNICATE ?
(that is a REAL PROBLEM that is the ROOT CAUSE of a lot of trouble)
Another is, Is Philosophy just a bunch of opinions & nothing more ?
(your Chosen Answer, (YES) IT IS. There aren't any tangible artifacts to examine. ITS AN
EXERCISE FOR THE MIND...Math & science CAN BE applied...but PHILOSOPHY CAN'T
BECAUSE of the variety of opinions ON THE SUBJECT..& so Lack OF PROOF that
ANY Of THEM ARE CORRECT).

Yeah communitation is key. Don't you love irony?

blah, blah,blah...Lots of zeros if you'll pardon the expression. Only one of those questions has co-terminated in real time. "Do they know what you mean?" is the philosophical middle ground, in which opposites and similarities are mapped on to a functionality, a scenario of paradox.
