I installed a new battery in my Galaxy S4 and it lost all my contacts and photos.?
I tried retrieving them using Fonelab but had no success. Do any of you know how to extract these lost items and restore them to my phone? Thanks, JIM

If you're such a geek you have these funny feelings about not being able to sort out ancient technology then perhaps you shouldn't have a phone.
Also stop commenting shite on my answers, the above answer is about as helpful as your own comment on my question.
Also the battery has nothing to do with your contacts/photos, you have the IQ of a potato. A battery is exactly that a BATTERY!

Signing back into your Gmail account on Google should bring back your contacts that is if you were properly signed into Google. As for your pictures if you were properly signed into Google and synced up your pictures are safe on the Google cloud. But if you neglected to use the Google services that back up your contact and your pictures you're in a world of problems your stuff is gone.

You have to export them, save them to an exterior device, prior to the battery change.
Then import them again.

If you havent, ......oh well
