Most dating sites (gay, straight, or otherwise) are scams/ripoffs - and I would highly recommend anyone thinking about using one be very careful not to give out any personal information, and if you decide to meet someone from one of these sites, do it in a public place, and possibly bring a friend along (even if they just hang back) just in case.

Yes... gays don't exist outside of movies and internet forums. You cannot find a real gay person in real gay life.

Not scams but for the most part, the people who advertise there are looking for one night stands and not relationships.
