Why do people take what they have for granted?!?
There’s this girl on my Snapchat that always post pictures of her with captions like, “no one loves me” or “I have no friends”. But it’s not serious kinda, it’s more like a cry for attention kinda thing. And today she posted, “No one has talked to me since I got back. I feel like no one likes me. But since when do I not feel like that”. As someone who actually has zero friends, this is so annoying. I haven’t gotten a text from someone for months unless it’s been my parents or siblings. I know the girl that posts that stuff has a good social life and is quite popular actually. But she always takes what she has for granted and seeks out attention. Why do people do this??

All wee girls do that. It's just to get likes and sympathy comments. Some of them do really take it to heart though and are pretty screwed up in the head. I know a few that would walk up to me and be like, "i added you on Facebook so why you not liking my pictures?" and they're all like insecure and stuff about it. But i just wasn't liking them cause i'm gay and i don't want them sexting me.
But i know how you feeling. I also currently have 0 friends but i'm sure that won't last forever. Sometimes your life has to get worse before it can get better.

Some people are just attention wh*res and social media's made it much easier for them to whine and get rewarded for it. This is a personality flaw and one that'll bedevil this girl as moves into adulthood and realizes she's not the center of the universe. You conversely already know that so you'll be much better prepared for the real world.

You're asking why adolescents on social media act like adolescents on social media?? Really? That's your actual question? Do me a favor. Think about that question for a minute. Contemplate how ridiculous it is, and then come back and tell us if that's really your entire question.
