If one parent is quadroon and the other is black what would the child be?

The term they used was Griffe, but such terms as that, as well as Mulatto, Quadroon and Octoroon etc.. were all thought up as a way the opress people with Black admixture, so it questionable whether they should be used in a fashionable sense as they hold negative connotations.Equivelants for people with mixed Asian ancestry usually hold less negativity, Eurasian, Blasian, Hapa, Luk khrueng-Thailand, Mestizo/Tisoy-Philippines, Hafu-Japan etc.. thoughnone of those are totally withput any negativity from people, many people embrace those terms.

Horatio could be the child's name, I would call that child by its name even if it was a mixed race.

Never heard the word quadroon before, but I guess I don't know everything.
