I haven't looked at technical specs for those particular years, but I own a V6 and have driven a turbo 4 rental.
The biggest difference I think was the sound, I found the sound of higher rpm's of the turbo to be a bit exhausting (or maybe it was the turbine itself). I also kind of feel like the V6 decelerates more when you lift for a corner, which made pushing through the twisties a little more predictable.
I may be a bit biased by image. To me a 6 cyl Mustang is a throwback to the 60's models. There were high performance models always available, but the majority of the models were affordable 6 cylinders that performed comparably well compared to concurrent models, but weren't really sports, muscle, or economy cars.

A mature person would do their own research and come to their own conclusions. Finding out about the insurance cost and calculating the total cost of ownership is part of that. It's about time you put on your big boy pants and started making your own decisions. FAIL
