What other major things can I be doing to help prevent climate change?

I've already given up eating meat and most dairy. I refuse to ever buy a car. I travel on an airplane only once every other year. I only ever vote for the Green Party. I try to buy as little as possible. And if I ever have children or pets then I'll definitely adopt.

But are there any other things I'm missing that make a real difference? (as opposed to all the stupid insignificant things that are always promoted in the media like turning off the lights, etc.)

You did not cause Global warming , you cant stop it so why deny yourself the simple pleasures of life such as eating dead cow and feeling the power of a big V8 or V 12 under you?

Take a train if you can instead of flying- at least once. When I have time and the ticket price isn't too bad, I enjoy seeing the country instead of just flying across it.

You can't do anything. It's all China's fault. 21.9% of all global (banned) emissions are generated by........... CHINA

The climate always changes. You might as well ask what you can do to stop plate tectonics? Why not ask how you can stop the sun from shining or the world from spinning? It is sad how science has been trashed by the left. If you want to know how you can reduce your CO2 emissions, then you should say so. If our CO2 emissions were zero, the climate would continue to change and would be nearly the same as it is now. Instead of using the language of the left, you should learn a little healthy skepticism of those that want to steal from you. When you pay the electric bills, you don't need people telling you to turn off the light. When you pay the gas bill, you don't need people telling you to minimize the waste. The left wants you to participate in their virtue signally. The left is really a cult that seeks to control you. You should decide not to participate with their idiocy.

The questioner now adds that he is talking about rapid man-made climate change in my comments as if that is supposed to indicate he is informed on the subject. I know it's in the mainstream news and other leftist propaganda sources. I know many people are indoctrinated to treat leftist talking points as science. They aren't science. They are leftist drivel. Since I'm an actual scientist, I prefer to talk about science in a scientific way and not allow the far left to dictate the language. Your contention that the climate is changing rapidly due to humans is wrong and unverified. It hasn't changed hardly at all in your lifetime (yeah I realized you were obviously quite young) yet you are perfectly willing to call it rapid man made climate change and you are willing to go out of your way to comply with the demands of a bunch of leftist hacks and that's all that needs to be said with regards to that. You have a choice to be a brain-washed drone or to actually learn a little about the subject. I know being harsh isn't the best way to convince somebody but I get tired of people believing in things that are easily debunked. Why don't you tell us how much rapid climate change people have caused? The point is you can't and I know you can't.

Thank you Steve and you are doing it by telling others you feelings on here. But keep in mind some need to eat dairy products for protein so they do not become diabetic if that disease is in their related family.

Stop voting for the Green Party. The Green Party opposes nuclear power. And it blames Alberta, rather than everyone who uses fossil fuels.

Vote for a party that supports true alternatives to fossil fuels, rather than pointing a finger of blame at Alberta.
