Which one is the heaviest and which one is the thinnest, Wally Cleaver, Eddie Haskell or Lumpy Rutherford if anyone seen Leave it to Beaver?

    Lumpy was the heaviest because he was the biggest. I think Eddie Haskell was the thinnest, but it's been so long since I've seen that show I can't remember how he compared to Wally. But then there was Gus the old fireman, who looked pretty frail at his old age. He may have been thinner.

    I remember that show, and neither Wally nor Eddie had any fat at all. I don't remember Lumpy as well, but the nickname implies he was the heaviest of the three.

    However, none of the people on TV shows then would be considered very large by today's standards. Two that were considered fat in those days were Ethyl from I Love Lucy and the Skipper from Gilligans Island. Ethyl had maybe 25 extra pounds on her and the Skipper maybe 40 or 50, if that.

    Culture changes over time, and American ideas about what is normal weight has changed. If producers want a character to be fat now, they have to hire an actor that is at least 80 to 100 lbs overweight.
