Should I clean my sofa?

It's a weird question but do you clean your sofa with anything inparticular when cleaning the house?

    there are carpet washers with attachments for material furniture obviously leather and similar must be treated with different methods

    Nah, mine always has a blanket on it and that gets washed when I remember.

    I use an attachment to vacuum between and under the cushions, vacuum the top front of the sofa and once every six months I use an upholstery cleaner on the entire thing.

    I clean my sofa with leather cleaner and a soft cotton cloth. Being able to actually clean it is one of the reasons I have a leather sofa.
