    There has to be more information available to you for this problem. You will need to know the extinction coefficient for this assay.

    First, convert the %T into an absorbance using the equation: Absorbance = 2-log%T

    Then, use Beer's Law to calculate a concentration:

    Absorbance = e b c where

    e = extinction coefficient

    b = path length (normally, 1 cm)

    c = concentration in units determined by the extinction coefficient
