Will the bank close my account ?

I have a basic account with Halifax UK but I haven't used it In a couple of months but I don't want them to close it society and culture

    The bank may close the account due to inactivity. You can make a deposit or a withdrawal to ensure that your account remains active.

    Call them and ask. Why not perform a $1 transaction to keep it active?

    you need to ask the bank their specific policies on when they close accounts--you have to have some activity, sometimes its once a year, and even with money they may close it with out any activity. ASK them.

    If there's money in it, the bank won't close it.

    Chances are that they will continue to mail your bank statement.

    i doubt it but i would just call the bank up and ask them
