Instant Pot venting is taking over an hour, what do I do?
I did a natural release for 20 minutes per the recipe, and then switched to venting and it has been over an hour total since it finished cooking. It's never taken anywhere close to this long.
I turned off the instant pot but the button is still raised. I don't want to open it because I'm afraid of getting hurt. But I also don't want to ruin my dinner because I waited 5 years for the button to close.
Any experience with this?

Your vent may be clogged. Unplug the pot and, no matter how long it takes, let it release with the vent open. You can try closing and opening the vent, but that seldom works.
After you eat, take the guard off the vent inside the lid and run hot water on it until it comes out the other side (vent open). That can happen when there is non solid food in the pot, if it is too full, or sometimes just because.

You should be able to open the lid. If you can not open it there is pressure and the lid will not release.
Just make sure you open it away from your face or other body parts just because the steam is hot.
