Dash cam suction cup question?

The rubber suction cup with my dash cam keeps falling off because of the colder weather. And I just cannot get it to stick back on there.

    We don't know which dash cam you are using... I have a Rexing V1LG. I started with doublestick mounting tape - that failed in the heat. I got a suction mount which worked better than the tape, but it failed in the heat (and you're saying it fails in the cold). I moved to a rear-view mirror-arm mount...

    If wetting the suction cup does not work, try some hot glue. Hot glue could work and it's also easily removed, too.

    Wet it with a drop of water after cleaning the window. It will stick and stay on.

    try a little Vaseline on it .....................
